The MPAA’s annual study of the theatrical and home entertainment market environment is here, and it once again shows that women represent large shares, or even majorities, of movie and home viewing consumership.
According to the MPAA, women make up 51% of movie goers. The 25-39 year age group (10.8 million) has the most frequent movie goers, followed by the 40-49 year age group (6.8 million).
